HOW TO COMPARE PRODUCTS "CONTAINING A.M.P."
There are several products in the marketplace claiming to contain the benefits of Aloe Mucilaginous Polysaccharides (AMP). If the use of unstable Aloe Vera gel would be sufficient and only a few drops of aloe juice in several hundreds of gallons of solution would be enough, their claims might be true. Most companies that sell aloe raw materials use one or more of the following procedures: enzymes, heat, dilution with water, filtration with activated charcoal, or the use of additives or freeze-drying.

When one of the above procedures are used, the resulting raw material is usually diluted to the point that, at most, a few drops of aloe, is present in a product labeled, marketed as, and sold as, "containing aloe." This means that many of the products on the market contain only scarce amounts, and in some cases, no real aloe at all. Even if a product were truly 100% Aloe or Aloe liquid, a human being would not be capable of consuming the many gallons that would be required to obtain a significant quantity of Aloe Mucilaginous Polysaccharides (AMP) (A.M.P.). Therefore, doctors confirm that whole leaf Aloe Vera and raw Aloe Vera gel and liquid contain some ingredients that, when taken internally, are irritating to the gut and intestinal linings. Because of this negative effect, these components must be removed.

After the plant is cut, within an hour our unique proprietary process is begun, protecting the healing molecules. Powdered Versions:
In the past powdered versions have been offered. There were several problems brought to our attention. While it was basically the same product, it was hard to mix, hard to be motivated to take the product regularly, hard to always have a product to mix it with, and or hard to find something to hide the taste. This is why we decided to produce the capsule version. While there are some companies still producing the powder, the capsule is much easier to take, much more efficient, and less stressful in all aspects.

The advantages of the Capsules are: (270 Capsules Per Bottle)
1. Approximately 20% more potency is found in the capsules. (Due to compression to encapsulation, about 20% more A.M.P. by weight is also present)
2. Although the capsules contain about 20% more A.M.P. per bottle, the capsules are the same price per bottle as the Powder.
3. The Capsules may be taken all at once, first thing in the morning on an empty stomach OR, may be taken throughout the day, 30 minutes prior to meals. (This is advantageous due to the continual spreading effect of multiple dosages.)
4. The Capsules are more convenient to take and to transport.

AMP Formulas with Rice Protein: (not recommended)
With the Cat and Dog food problems of Rice protein imported from China, we are worried it could get into other products containing any kind of rice protein.  We would not want to take the chance.

Note: We are NOT saying that our competition has this problem.  As animal lovers, we are just nervous because of the animals dying from Melamine.  We would not want to take that chance.

AMP Formulas with L-Glutamine: (not recommended)
Some of our competitors are also experimenting with other products to see if the new formulation might work better than the old. While we understand the need to be different, we see no reason to experiment on our customers. Our formulation has not changed since 1996 due to the fact that so many of our customers have testified to having such successful results. There have been some problems associated with the synthetic L-Glutamine compared to Soy lecithin and might be a BIG problem for celiac with neurological problems.

Safety Issues
L-Glutamine is a naturally occurring amino acid and, when taking the recommended dosages, is thought to be a safe supplement. However, those who are hypersensitive to monosodium glutamate (MSG) should use glutamine with EXTREME caution, as the body metabolizes glutamine into glutamate. Also, because many anti-epilepsy drugs work by blocking glutamate stimulation in the brain, high dosages of glutamine might conceivably overwhelm these drugs and pose a risk to people with epilepsy.

In one case report high doses of the supplement L-glutamine (more than 2 g per day) may have triggered episodes of mania in two people not previously known to have bipolar disorder.

Due to the fact that we have so many satisfied, happy, and now healthy customers, and based on all of this evidence, we are going to stick with our original formula.
