Digestive Problems

When we eat such things as bread, meat, and vegetables, they are not in a form that the body can use as nourishment. Our food and drink must be changed into smaller molecules of nutrients before they can be absorbed into the blood and carried to cells throughout the body. Digestion is the process by which food and drink are broken down into their smallest parts so that the body can use them to build and nourish cells and to provide energy. When your body does not digest its food correctly, it could cause problems or digestive disorders.

Symptoms such as gas, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, belching, flatulence, food sensitivities, indigestion, malabsorption, irritable bowel syndrome, etc. are many signs of digestive problems. Unfortunately since these symptoms are so common, they are often left undiagnosed. There are over 100 million Americans that suffer from 1 or more forms of digestive conditions.

Examples of digestive problems are: Gastroenteritis, Spastic Colon, Gastritis, Esophagus Reflux, IBS - Irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, Diverticulitis, Acid Reflux Disease, Diverticulosis, Crohns, IBD - Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Severe Heartburn, Poor Digestion, and GERD.
